Active since 1971 in the hot steel forging and ring rolling industry, Forgia del Frignano has grown steadily over the years, implementing state-of-the-art technologies and investing in the growth of its staff, to the point of gaining the trust of the market for the high production quality and its service to customers.

To date, the production lines include presses from 1800 to 6500 t, allowing the manufacture of forgings weighing from 2 to 150 kg and with a diameter ranging from 100 to 1000 mm.

Gears, conical and cylindrical crowns, rings, and flanges are among the main products. Production is aimed mainly at the hydraulic, industrial vehicles, agricultural and earth moving machinery, cars and commercial vehicles industries.

All the parts can be supplied both in a raw forging state or already inclusive of heat treatment or machining.

Forgia del Frignano applies a rigorous quality system complying with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and certified by Lloyd’s Register. Internal procedures and well-defined operating practices, together with the experience which has always been identifying the company, make it possible to provide a finished product of superior quality.

The company ERP monitors all the phases related to the forging component manufacturing: starting from quotation, throughout the design phase with a three-dimensional integrated CAD/CAM system and the CAE simulation of the process, to the internal construction of the moulds and equipment by means of CNC machines and, finally, to actual production.
